300 PAX BCT + BOO
Baladna's first Algerian mega-project required a 300 PAX worker accommodation camp on site at Adrar, with utility infrastructure to support construction and early operations. Badou Ba's PMO team at RedMed Group delivered the camp under a Build-Commission-Transfer model and operated the power and water utilities under a Build-Own-Operate model.
Phase 1 closed cleanly: workforce housed safely, utilities reliable, no schedule slips traceable to the camp side. That clean delivery is what earned the Phase 2 invitation.
1000 PAX Scale-Up
Baladna's scale-up to a 1000 PAX camp (3.3x the Phase 1 footprint) is in delivery, building on the same Build-Commission-Transfer accommodation scope and Build-Own-Operate power and water utility model that proved out in Phase 1.
Engagement details are under NDA.
The Track Record
- Repeat client retention: Baladna chose the same team twice in a row.
- 3.3x scale-up: Trust scaled with project size — not always the case in EPC.
- Full delivery stack: BCT accommodation and BOO power & water delivered to one client across two phases.
- Sector anchor: Anchors a presence in agribusiness, a high-priority DFI sector for African food security.
IFC Performance Standards Applied
Agribusiness mega-projects bring elevated PS5 (land acquisition) and PS6 (biodiversity) scrutiny, in addition to the standard PS2/PS4 worker-protection bar.
