Baladna
Adrar 300 → 1000 PAX
The same client who trusted the team for the first 300 PAX camp under RedMed brought us back — wearing the AYMTEC hat — for the 1000 PAX scale-up. This is the case study that proves the bridge from delivery partner to operating partner.

300 PAX BCT + BOO
Baladna's first Algerian mega-project required a 300 PAX worker accommodation camp on site at Adrar, with utility infrastructure to support construction and early operations. Badou Ba's PMO team at RedMed Group delivered the camp under a Build-Commission-Transfer model and operated the power and water utilities under a Build-Own-Operate model.
Phase 1 closed cleanly: workforce housed safely, utilities reliable, no schedule slips traceable to the camp side. That clean delivery is what earned the Phase 2 invitation.
1000 PAX + Strategic PMO Advisory
For Baladna's scale-up to a 1000 PAX camp (3.3x the Phase 1 footprint), the engagement evolved. The same client returned — but Badou had founded AYMTEC. Phase 2 is being delivered with a Build-Commission-Transfer accommodation scope and Build-Own-Operate power and water, with AYMTEC providing the strategic PMO advisory layer on top under engagement reference AYM-26-001.
The advisory layer is structured as a 2.5% fee on project revenue, with 50% advance and a mirror-payment clause aligned to the underlying contract. This is what Service Line 3 (Operating Partner / Fractional COO) looks like in practice.
The same buyer who trusted the camp delivery now trusts the strategic PMO oversight on a larger, more complex scope. That is the strongest signal of operational pedigree we can show.
The Transition Story
- Repeat client retention: Baladna chose the same team twice in a row.
- 3.3x scale-up: Trust scaled with project size — not always the case in EPC.
- Full commercial stack: BCT + BOO + Advisory all delivered to one client across two phases.
- RedMed → AYMTEC continuity: The buyer's confidence transferred from the prior employer to the founder's new firm — the strongest possible validation of personal track record.
- Sector anchor: Anchors AYMTEC's presence in agribusiness, a high-priority DFI sector for African food security.
IFC Performance Standards Applied
Agribusiness mega-projects bring elevated PS5 (land acquisition) and PS6 (biodiversity) scrutiny, in addition to the standard PS2/PS4 worker-protection bar.
